We have a vacancy for the following position
Technical Specialist
Location: Nottingham office
Key tasks:
- Providing technical support to internal and external customers for our Calbiochem, Novagen and Novabiochem product lines.
- Liaising with Technical Service groups at other Merck sites.
- Using a CRM system to record all interactions with customers.
- Providing technical input for other functional areas in the company: marketing, customer service, logistics, etc.
Skills, knowledge and experience:
- Candidates will be required to speak fluent English and either fluent Spanish or fluent Italian. Fluency in all three languages would be advantageous.
- Degree in a Bioscience discipline essential - a PhD is desirable.
- At least 1 - 2 years of practical molecular biology experience
- Communication and team working skills
- Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
- Enthusiastic, committed, hard-working
- Demonstrable attention to detail
- Demonstrable analytical and problem solving skills
