Fungizone

Yellow solid. PROTECT FROM LIGHT. A polyene antifungal antibiotic that non-specifically induces loss of low molecular weight substances from cells. Binds to sterols and disrupts osmotic integrity of fungal membrane. Causes suppression of bone marrow progenitor cells. Purity: >86% by HPLC. RTECS BU2625000, CAS 1397-89-3.
